What is the status of my live scan?

You can check the status of your live scan on the Department of Justice Applicant Status Check website: https://applicantstatus.doj.ca.gov/checkstatus. The status check website will let you know if your background check is still processing or if it has been completed.

You will need your date of birth and ATI number. The ATI number should be located at the bottom of the live scan form you received after you completed the fingerprinting. 

Once the status check website shows "Complete" for all required checks, your requesting agency will receive the background check results.
